Many of you have been asking and we’d like to share that progress is being made daily on our new Florissant Ace Hardware & Supply. The old Hutchison Lumber building needed a bit of work in order to bring it up to Ace standards. The shelving has been removed, walls from old offices have been taken down, the floor has been patched, the ceiling is painted (what a difference it makes having the bright white paint on it) and the walls are also fresher and brighter looking with new paint. Overall, the interior is now more open, brighter, and welcoming.
Soon we’ll be getting everything we need to open our store. New shelving that’s more functional as well as signage, registers, computers, and stock will be arriving within the next few weeks. It will take a little time to get everything in place and then we will be ready to open the store for business. We’re projecting to be open some time toward the end of November.
We’ve gotten some applications, but are still looking for employees. We hire for full and part time positions. If you’re interested, stop by either the Florissant or Cripple Creek stores to pick up your application.
