At Cripple Creek & Florissant Ace Hardware and Supply stores we believe in doing what we can to support our communities. There are many ways that we do this and most recently it was helping support Habitat for Humanity of Teller County.
Habitat for Humanity believes that everyone should have healthy, affordable housing. Normally, we think of them as building new homes for people, but Habitat for Humanity of Teller County has even taken on some historic rehab/restorations in Cripple Creek, which has greatly benefitted the community.
Saturday night was a fund raiser for Habitat for Humanity of Teller County. It was held in Woodland Park and was a Gatsby themed gala with dinner, music, and auctions. The evening was an opportunity for community members to get together for a fun night and help Habitat for Humanity raise money for their local projects. There were many businesses in our area who contributed to the event, including Cripple Creek and Florissant Ace Hardware & Supply, and who also donated items for auction.
Our Cripple Creek and Florissant Ace Hardware & Supply store employees would like to thank Mur and Terri Woods as well as their son, Max, for their involvement and generosity with our local communities and organizations. We appreciate all you do!
*** Do you know about ReStores? ReStores are found across the United States and sell new and second hand building supplies to the public. These items are all donated by individuals, contractors, hotels, and other businesses and all proceeds go to benefit Habitat to Humanity. Items for sale include tile, lighting fixtures, cabinets, furniture, bath fixtures, windows, doors, and much, much more. We have a ReStore in Colorado Springs, so check it out the next time you’re looking for something for your home. Items change daily, so if they don’t have something you’re looking for, be sure to come back later. ***
