Summer is officially here and June is going to be a busy month. There are a lot of activities for you to enjoy and we hope you’ll come out and participate in some of them. To get more information about any of these events, click on the blue links.
The Butte Theater All summer long, Cripple Creek – There are a variety of shows running this summer including a ragtime revue, musical, and melodrama. You can order tickets online to be assured of the best seating or just drop in. You’ll be sure to have a good time!
Top of the World Rodeo June 9th-11th, Cripple Creek Fairgrounds – Come for pancake breakfast, parade, draft horses, mutton busting, rodeo, street dancing, vendors and more!
Night Sky Program June 16th, Florissant Fossil Beds – It’s going to be a great night of “star gazing, planet watching, and viewing the Milky Way”.
Victor Gem and Mineral Show June 16-18th, Victor – Rocks, gems, minerals, jewelry, furniture with mineral inlays, gold panning for the kids, “Prospectors” from the television show, grilled burgers and shopping at the local merchants!
Donkey Derby Days June 23-25th, Cripple Creek – Pancake breakfasts, parade, petting zoo, donkey rides, donkey races, vendors, live music, beer garden, street dance, dog show, and much, much more!
21st Annual Once Upon A Time In The West Art Show June 23-July 5th, Cripple Creek Heritage Center – Featuring Native American, cowboy, and western art.
Gold Mine Tours All summer in Victor, Colorado – This is a great tour and you’ll learn a lot about above ground mining. You’ll need to make reservations, which is available on our link.
The Florissant Grange Every Thursday night in Florissant – from 6-9. Potluck dinner and music by the Jammers. Thursdays are great nights for fun, food, fellowship, dancing, and music. Come and bring your family for a good time. If you play an instrument, you can join in, too!
