3rd Annual Tesla Rally – August 12th, Cripple Creek, 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – The largest gathering of Teslas in Colorado. Come for a parade of Teslas, food, music, beer and more at the corner of 4th and Bennett Ave.
“Forgotten Colorado Silver” Book Signing – August 12th, Victor, 1:30-5:30 – Victor Lowell Thomas Museum – Come for a book signing by one of three authors of the newly released book “Forgotten Colorado Silver”. All proceeds from the sale of the book as well as other items in the gift shop go to benefit the museum’s renovation fund.
25th Annual Salute to American Veterans Rally & 30th Annual POW/MIA Recognition Ride – August 18th @ 8 a.m. – August 20th @ 5 p.m. Cripple Creek – POW/MIA Remembrance ceremony and recognition ride, Veteran’s parade, Veteran’s poker run, Vietnam memorial wall, wild west gun fighters, street vendors, and more. Come for a fun time!
Pike’s Peak Region Memorial Wall Dedication – August 20th – Cripple Creek – 1 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah cemetery – A beautiful, solemn remembrance ceremony honoring local members of the Armed Forces who served in Iraq or Afghanistan and were lost in service since September 11, 2001.
The Butte Theater All summer long, Cripple Creek – There are a variety of shows running this summer including a ragtime revue, musical, and melodrama. You can order tickets online to be assured of the best seating or just drop in. You’ll be sure to have a good time!
Gold Mine Tours All summer in Victor, Colorado – This is a great tour and you’ll learn a lot about above ground mining. You’ll need to make reservations, which is available on our link.
The Florissant Grange Every Thursday night in Florissant – from 6-9. Potluck dinner and music by the Jammers. Thursdays are great nights for fun, food, fellowship, dancing, and music. Come and bring your family for a good time. If you play an instrument, you can join in, too!
