What is e-cloth and why do you need it?

* e-cloth! Chemical free cleaning for your home.*

We’ve had e-cloth at both our Cripple Creek and Florissant stores for a while now and we LOVE it! I’ve personally tried several styles of the e-cloth and appreciate the ease and convenience, the lack of chemicals needed, and that they’re environmentally friendly. The best news for you is that Ace Rewards members will receive $2-5 off all e-cloth purchases, no limits, through the end of January!

The following is a reprint of an earlier post:

There are so many new products on the market every day that it’s sometimes difficult to keep up with them. Many of the “new” products are just different versions of items we already carry. If they seem like they’re better, different, or unique, we may choose to stock them. Of course, we can’t stock every item, so we try to be selective.

Last week Jack brought a sample pack of e-cloth home. I had never heard of it before, although it’s been around for a while. E-cloth uses only water to clean with and it says that it removes 99% of bacteria from hard surfaces, including e-coli and listeria. It’s also guaranteed for 300 washes.

The sample that Jack brought me was the kitchen pack. Enclosed were two cloths. One was the “kitchen cloth”, which is a 12.5″ x 12.5″ cloth with a “pocket” that’s meant for non-scratch scrubbing. This cloth is supposed to remove grease, oil, and bacteria. The second cloth is the “glass and polishing cloth” that is advertised to “bring a streak-free, smear-free and lint-free finish to glass, stainless steel, and shiny surfaces, all using just water”. That cloth is 16″ x 20″, but is much thinner than the kitchen cloth.

Well, Jack went to work this morning and in the process of cleaning I decided to try the glass and polishing cloth. I got it slightly damp on one corner (the instructions say to spray water on the item that you’re cleaning, but I was being lazy) and then cleaned the glass in my china cabinet. I was amazed! When the glass turned out so clean and streak-free, I moved on to my dishwasher, which is stainless. That turned out great, so I tried my refrigerator (also stainless), my stove (stainless as well), the glass on my oven door, my microwave (stainless and glass) and my sliding glass doors in our living room. I was totally surprised by how good they looked with very little effort and no chemicals!

I haven’t tried the kitchen cloth yet, but judging by the glass & polishing cloth and it’s performance, I have to assume I’m going to be just as amazed with the kitchen cloth. I can see using these cloths all around my house. Counter tops, tile, dishes, pots and pans, glass, stainless steel, mirrors….the list goes on and on.

The biggest selling feature of e-cloth is that you don’t use any chemicals to clean with them! That’s right, no chemicals! No sprays, glass cleaners, disinfectants, scrubbing agents, etc. It’s really nice to be able to clean with just water. Not only is it better for you health-wise and better for the environment, but it’s also cost saving.

We are currently stocking several different styles of e-cloth, so stop in today to get yours to start cleaning chemical free!
