What’s a Pest-A-Cator?

I don’t know about you, but we had a horrible mouse problem this fall. Previously, we’ve had a few mice here and there during the cold months, but nothing like this winter! We tried all of the traditional methods of getting rid of them, but we were at the point of having one or two a day! Finally, a friend mentioned that she used a plug-in product that kept the mice away. Well, it was certainly worth a try!

Ace Hardware (Cripple Creek and Florissant) sell Pest-A-Cators. I had Jack bring one home to try it. I have to say that he was very skeptical, but he knows that mice in the house terrify me, so he did it. Since he brought the Pest=A=Cator home in November, we’ve had a total of ONE, yes…one, mouse in our house. That one mouse was within the first week. Since then, no mice at all!

Not only do we not have mice in the house, but there aren’t any under the house either. We have a crawl space under our house and our dog (Rat Terrier) used to hear them at night and it drove her nuts! Since getting a Pest-A-Cator, she (dog) sleeps all night and doesn’t spend hours staring at our furnace vents (where she used to hear them) like she used to. What a relief, for her and for us!

If you have a rodent problem, I would highly suggest getting a Pest-A-Cator. Both our Cripple Creek and Florissant stores sell them and they’ll save you a lot of time and headaches! Read below for more details!

Made in USA

Our original Pest-A-Cator®. The Pest-A-Cator® 2000 is specifically designed for larger homes, apartments, condominiums, and mobile homes. Just plug it into any 110V indoor outlet and the patented pulse technology signal is sent throughout your home!

Pest A Cator® 2000 is NOT an ultrasonic product. It works with the electrical wiring in your home. The electrical wiring inside your home already has an existing field surrounding it. When Pest A Cator® is plugged in, it pulses this field. It doesn’t really add to or take away from the field – just pulses it. Rodents like to live and nest inside the walls. They feel the pulse and don’t like it, so it drives them out. This means that if there is an infestation of rodents, the consumer WILL see more during the first four weeks or so, because the Pest A Cator® is helping drive them out of the walls. We recommend using traps, glue boards, etc. the first few weeks to help clean up the initial problem. Additional units are recommended for larger single level areas or multiple story structures.

  • Larger HomeDirect plug-in feature is user friendly
  • Completely maintenance-free
  • Not a chemical
  • Not a trap that requires emptying dead or dying animals
  • Safe to use around children and household pets (except rodent-type pets), and Pest A Cator® products may help in reducing your monthly exterminator costs.
  • 60-day Money-Back Guarantee
  • Recommended for larger homes (generally regarded as 2000 square feet)

We recommend the Pest-A-Cator® 1000 for smaller single-level dwellings.

Note: As with any pest management technique, no one method is completely effective, and a program of integrated management involving a variety of techniques and practices is most likely to provide the desired results.

Pestacator 2000

“Hi to everyone at Pest-A-Cator®, I am the owner of Charles Street Supply in Boston and have been buying your products for years and love them! With the ‘big dig’ going on (and probably will be until I’m really old), the rodent problem in our neighborhood has been extreme, to say the least. We have the Pest-A-Cator® on top of our check-out terminals, and our store cat, ‘Totes,’ has decided that if people do not buy the Pest-A-Cator®, then she will go home with them for a weekend of ‘catch the mouse.’ Thought you might find it amusing. Thanks for a great product.”
