July Events in & around Cripple Creek & Florissant

Here we are, part way through the summer. The beginning of July certainly wasn’t the greatest with the High Chateau fire, but it’s good to know that our first responders were able to take care of it in a timely manner. We’re lucky to live in an area where people are so helpful, caring, and willing to do whatever is needed in times like this. Thank you to everyone who helped! Hopefully the other fires in our state as well as other states will be taken care of soon.

Besides the special events listed below, don’t forget about all of the other museums and activities in our area. Mine tours, several museums, Florissant Fossil Beds, camping, fishing, and a multitude of parks are just a few of the options that are available for your enjoyment.
