September Events in our Area

Are you looking for something fun to do this month? We have some great suggestions for you for activities in the Cripple Creek and Victor areas! Click the blue links below for more information on anything that sounds interesting.

Historical Glimpse of Victor Colorado and Mining Districts – September 15th from 2-3 p.m. at the Heritage Center in Cripple Creek. Free power point presentation, refreshments, socializing, and visiting with the presenter.

Mt. Pisgah Speaks Cemetery Tour – September 15-16 in Cripple Creek. Ghosts and history comes alive with this interesting tour complete with character reenactments.

Sunnyside Cemetery Walking Tour – September 22nd in Victor. Learn a little history of an 1890’s cemetery and some of the local residents while taking this tour.

Aspen Tours with the 2-Mile High Club – September 22 & 23rd in Cripple Creek. Come and enjoy the colorful Aspen leaves while taking this yearly tour.

Taste the Gold – September 29th from 11-6 p.m. in Victor. Wine tasting all day while enjoying the beautiful fall colors and the city of Victor.

Butte Theater – Cripple Creek. Offering “Always…Patsy Cline” this month. Enjoy great times with family and friends while relaxing in the comfort of the Butte!

Mysteries at the District Museum – Cripple Creek. Now through the end of September at the District Museum. Come for a fun time with the family and earn a chance of winning gold!

The Florissant Grange – Every Wednesday night in Florissant from 6-9. Potluck dinner and music by the Jammers. Wednesdays are great nights for fun, food, fellowship, dancing, and music. Come and bring your family for a good time. If you play an instrument or sing, you can join in, too!
